Whymate is being built by Alika and Aleksei Savko in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. This page explains what we collect when you join the waitlist and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

Your email address.
The role you choose: founder, want to join a team, or investor.

That's all. We don't use tracking cookies or advertising pixels on this site.

Why we collect it

To invite you to Whymate when we open and to send you occasional updates about the launch. We use your role to send you the right invitation. Our legal basis is your consent, which you give by submitting the form.

Who sees it

Only the two of us. We don't sell, rent or share your data with third parties. Your email is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS S3, Frankfurt region), which processes it only on our behalf.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until we decide not to launch, whichever comes first.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to show you, correct or delete your data, or to stop emailing you. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. To make a request, write to alekseisavko2018@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days. If you think we've handled your data wrongly, you can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
